I am an artist. I don't like Obama, and I think he's a liar. I support Homosexuality. I'm into the older types of music like the Kaiser Cheifs.. I'm too observant for my own good..

See Why in Shadow I Hide....

Posted by WonLove Dec. 29, 2009 @ 3:15 AM EST

I have officially fallen for the Phantom of the Opera.. For some reason, that music sort of enraptures you.. IF you're of good taste.. You probably think I'm a silly girl. Idk..

The music is really pretty.. And Gerard Butler.. Wow.. His voice is pretty niice.. And Christine's voice is beautiful too.

The conceit is an excellent one.. The ending is sad though.. But still somewhat sweet. I mean when the Phantom is left to the angry opera members, yes, its a sad ending. Also when Raoul leaves the music box at Christines grave.

Essere allegri non significa necessariamente essere felici,
talvolta si ha voglia di ridere e scherzare,
per non sentire che dentro si ha voglia di piangere

Shepard Fairey..

Posted by WonLove Nov. 25, 2009 @ 9:51 PM EST

I was going to submit some of my artwork to a contest on deviantrt.com, but when i realised they had paired with the same guy who gave Mr. Obama those Blue/Cream/Red posters that say 'HOPE' on them.. I decided against it. I am strongly disdainful toward our 'president'. And besides, he promised that he was going to 'fight from the LGBT community and fight for homosexual marriage, yet, he hasn't done anything to help them? Yeah, yeah, I realise that the economy might be a distraction from the rest of his agenda, but this has happened before, and he should be able to learn from the past, don't you think? Shepard Fairey had made more with different people on them like Einstein and Darwin. I feel like those posters are like saying that Obama is the answer to everything, when really, he's just another problem.

I also have the Jerkoffs single 'Screw the Man' on my Ipod too.. :D And the theme from that movie is soo awesome.. The music to that movie is soo.. indie, i guess.. Like, its kind of that type of music that you just want to listen to when you're sad, or driving..

And Lethario, even though he is gay.. Beefy Guy is soooo amazazing!! lol.. You know that any guy named LETHARIO is just amazingg.. :pp

I don't know about you, but..

Posted by WonLove Nov. 6, 2009 @ 1:10 AM EST

Little kids seroiusly bother me. They're so obnoxious. MEANING that the ones who are like blindly following a massive fraud that they've been taught their whole life. You see, I was on Facebook this afternoon, and i noticed my friend's wall had a status that went along the lines of "why do guys like lesbians so much, yet think gay men are gross?"

And a fifth grader, a FIFTH GRADER, was trying to tell my friend that gay men were disgusting because thats what christianity says. So, I simply commented back that I didn't think it was appropriate that he was telling me that homosexuality is wrong because some fictitious man said so. He commented back by calling me a bitch [which I do admit to being..sometimes].

My final answer was that I thought it was rather humorous that he was calling me a bitch and telling me to shut the fuck up, when he's like ten.

And I do, I think its almost criminal that these so called 'teachers' are teaching this shit to little kids. They know they'll believe it, because they don't know of anything else to believe in. And don't think I'm just going off about this because this kid irritated me. I have personal experience with 'Christianity'. Unfortunately, the schools i attended, the teachers and administrators manipulated the curriculum to make it seem like if you thought any different you were going straight to Hell. In fact, I had asked my teacher how we knew that the Bible actually said what it said way bzack when it was first 'published'. Her answer was that her 'God' was awesome and that she just had faith in him. She also told me that the way I was thinking was wrong.

I'm never having kids. Just to throw that out there.

[No Title]

Posted by WonLove Oct. 7, 2009 @ 6:43 PM EDT

I've been working on this for a while.. Here's a little piece..

"Oh, good your awake. Um, I wanted to know what you want for breakfast." Philip answered.

"I'm not hungry." Tally retorted annoyed.

"Look, can I come in? I really need to talk to you."

Tally sighed aloud. "Fine, but let me get a sweatshirt on." Though Tally wasn't cold, she still felt uncomfortable in just a tank top and sweatpants around him.

She opened the door two minutes later.

"Okay. Well, I know you don't like me, but your mom really does." Tally knew this would be coming soon. "And I understand if you're jealous or angry, but you need to let her have her fun." Tally looked at him as if he were crazy.

"What are you talking about? I'm definitely not jealous. Not of you. God, you adults always assume anger or jealousy. You never stop to ask what the hell is wrong! And yes, Philip,-"

"Phil."

"Whatever! I am angry. I'm angry with both of you. I'm angry with my mother for being shallow enough for you. And I'm angry with you because you don't care about her. I can see it in your eyes! You just care about sleeping with her and satisfying yourself. And do you really want to know how I feel about you? I find it rather disgusting, your relationship. I do. Its absolutely disgusting. You both act like teens with their first loves. You both are adults, so grow up and act like it!" Once silence had followed her voice, Tally didn't realize she had been yelling.

Phil seem taken back some. "Well, I'm sorry-"

"What's all the shouting about?"

Tally rolled her eyes. Her mother was good at fake surprise.

"Uh, nothing. Tally and I were just having a discussion. Weren't we?" Tally looked him in the eyes and saw something she hadn't ever before. It almost looked like hatred. Whatever it was, Tally had to look away, for it was boring into her too fast, she answered just above a whisper, "Yes, we were just talking."

Its a little story i've been working on for about a year.. it doesnt have a title yet, but it'll be finished soon.. Tell me what you think, yeah?.. :D

Tetris is good for you.. 0_o

Posted by WonLove Oct. 7, 2009 @ 6:32 PM EDT

Tetris (Russian: %u0422%u0435%u0301%u0442%u0440%u0438%u 0441) is a puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov. It was created on June 6, 1984,[1] while he was working for the Dorodnicyn Computing Centre of the Academy of Science of the USSR in Moscow.[2] He derived its name from the Greek numerical prefix "tetra- (all of the game's pieces, known as Tetrominoes, contain four segments) and tennis, Pajitnov's favorite sport.[3][4]

According to intensive research from Dr. Michael Crane and Dr. Richard Haier, et al. prolonged Tetris activity can also lead to more efficient brain activity during play. When first playing Tetris, brain function and activity increases, along with greater cerebral energy consumption, measured by glucose metabolic rate. As Tetris players become more proficient, their brains show a reduced consumption of glucose, indicating more efficient brain activity for this task. Even moderate playing of tetris (half-an-hour a day for three months) boosts general cognitve functions such as "critical thinking, reasoning, language and processing" and increase cerebral cortex thickness.

In January 2009, an Oxford University research group headed by Dr. Emily Holmes reported in PLoS ONE that for healthy volunteers, playing 'Tetris' soon after viewing traumatic material in the laboratory reduced the number of flashbacks to those scenes in the following week. They believe that the computer game may disrupt the memories that are retained of the sights and sounds witnessed at the time, and which are later re-experienced through involuntary, distressing flashbacks of that moment. The group hope to develop this approach further as a potential intervention to reduce the flashbacks experienced in PTSD, but emphasized that these are only preliminary results.

The game can also cause a repetitive stress symptom in that the brain will involuntarily picture tetris combinations even when the player is not playing the game (the Tetris effect), although this can occur with any computer game or situation showcasing repeated images or scenarios, such as a jigsaw puzzle.
